Sylas stream second track, ‘Shore’
London duo’s debut single is coming out on Aesop next month.
Trickling out back in September, London duo Sylas announced themselves as a more-than-promising duo, balancing deft electronics with a choral calm.
Brian Eno-approved, debut track ‘Hollow’ gave nods to Darkside in its cold, industrial take on what was ultimately a lusty, bubbling up pop track. ‘Shore’ is more straight-down-the-line, showing its hand from the off.
Trickling by with all the intent of someone gradually awakening on a lazy weekend morning, it’s a sweet, intimate song that wraps tales about family, love and tragedy in the warmest tones possible.
Sylas’ debut 12” is coming out on Aesop (SOHN, Tala), 24th November.
