TALA reworks ‘Everybody’s Free’ for her new EP
London producer’s rise to the top continues with this Quindon Tarver cover.
This December sees TALA releasing her new ‘Alchemy’ EP. Already we’ve heard two tracks, ‘Black Scorpio’ and the soaring title-track. Now a third number’s emerged in the form of ‘Everybody’s Free’.
This latest cut sees the London producer editing a cover originally recorded by Quindon Tarver - ‘Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)’. It was originally recorded by Rozalla in 1991, with the cover initially appearing on 1996’s Romeo + Juliet.
‘Everybody’s Free’ appears on ‘Alchemy’, out via Aesop Label.
Read the DIY introducing interview with TALA here, where she discusses the “cultural source” of a house she grew up in, and the challenges facing female producers in 2014.
