Sound the horns
TALA shares brand new track, ‘Black Scorpio’
South London producer of Iranian descent continues to clash bold ideas on her new song.
South London producer TALA is following up her breathtaking ‘The Duchess’ debut with a new track.
‘Black Scorpio’ continues the newcomer’s knack for clashing ideas and cultures before compressing them into stomping, unorthodox dance giants. This latest cut doesn’t hold back - kicking off with a storm of percussion, it eventually breaks free to bring in klaxons, sirens and head-spinning synth lines.
A Neu profile from earlier this year said that TALA’s music “sounds futuristic and ritualistic all at once, like the kind of music space cults might play in their downtime.” This track continues her run of form.
‘Black Scorpio’ is taken from a new EP, full details TBA.
