The 1975 showcase all the glum of the fair in their ‘A Change Of Heart’ video
Black and white clip links up with the ‘I Like It When You Sleep…’ ballad to present the darker side of clown life.

It’s not all fun and games being a clown. Well - to be fair, it mostly is exactly that, actually. Sometimes, though, it’s actually a bloody nightmare.
Take the new video for The 1975’s ‘A Change Of Heart’ for example. Sapped of all colour and featuring a dolled up Matty Healy prancing around a pretty bleak looking fairground, it presents clown life as anything but technicolour. He finds a mime partner to canoodle with for a bit, but it’s not long before she sods off in the same direction as the 1975’s new bright pink aesthetic. In other words, Clown Matty’s having a fucking shocker. He even gets rained on at the end, which is gonna prove a nightmare for all that make-up.
Taken from The 1975’s new album ‘I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’, you can stream the ‘A Change Of Heart’ video below.
