Something's coming
The 1975 are set to release “something” by the end of 2017
The band’s manager Jamie Oborne confirmed something was on the horizon on Twitter.

So then, looks like something will be coming from The 1975 before the year is out!
After Matt Healy recently took to Twitter to tease a potential new EP, the band’s manager Jamie Oborne has also taken to social media to clarify just what we can expect from them before 2017 ends.
On Twiter, he said: “So there is not going to be @the1975 EP in 2017. EP will be 2018. BUT you will get something that I personally love. Sorry but that’s all I can say right now”. So, a new single in the next month or so then? Guess we better wait and see…
Earlier in the year, Matt joined Zane Lowe on Beats 1 to confirm that the band’s follow-up to ‘i like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it’ would be called ‘Music For Cars’. The new album is due out sometime in 2018.
Oborne also commented on the progress of the new LP in the same tweet, saying: “Oh, MFC is already sounding amazing. It will be worth the wait”.
