The 1975 tease ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ updates and tour news
Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake Up! The 1975 are about to share something exciting!
Another day, another The 1975 update that makes us scream out loud on a busy tube platform… We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Shared via their Instagram last night, it looks like The 1975 are gearing up to reveal some news about their highly anticipated new record ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’. After giving us the first glimpses into the record with the Greta Thunberg featuring ‘The 1975’ and the raucous ‘People’, they revealed that their fourth album - the second part of their ‘Music For Cars’ era following last year’s brilliant ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’ - will be landing on 21st February 2020. (If that dates not already inked in your diary, what are you doing?).
Taking to their Twitter, the group have confirmed that the pre-order for ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ will be available on Friday (13th September) and also that they’ll be announcing some tour news, hopefully giving the European stans the dates that they’ve been waiting for.
Will there be any other news? Stay tuned to find out!
The 1975 have been shortlisted for the 2019 Hyundai Mercury Prize. For more information on this year’s Prize, head to mercuryprize.hyundai.co.uk.
