Mercury Prize 2017
The Big Moon, alt-j and more will perform at this year’s Mercury Prize ceremony
The show takes place at London’s Hammersmith Apollo next month.

There’s little more than three weeks to go before the winner of this year’s Mercury Prize is revealed at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 14th September!
All of the nominees have already been announced, but now it’s been confirmed who’ll actually be playing tunes at the awards show itself. The Big Moon, Sampha, The xx, alt-j, Glass Animals, Loyle Carner, J Hus, Kate Tempest, Blossoms, Stormzy, and Dinosaur have all been confirmed to play one track from their nominated albums.
You can also tune in to watch them play as well, with both BBC Four and 6 Music broadcasting the event live from 9pm on the night itself (and there’s a little 30 minute documentary on BBC Two before it if you want to brush up on your Mercury Prize knowledge a bit more).
Take a look at all the albums nominated for this year’s Mercury Prize below.
