The Breeders return with new track ‘Wait In The Car’
It’s accompanied by visuals from Chris Bigg and Martin Andersen.

The Breeders have returned with a brand new track, ‘Wait In The Car’.
The new single is the first to be released by the members behind the band’s album ‘Last Splash’: Kim and Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Mcpherson. They originally returned to the stage in 2013 to celebrate 20 years of the LP, and have been working on new material since.
The artwork and visuals for the track come from Chris Bigg and Martin Andersen, who have pieced the video together using 800 still images. The pair said: “It all started with a brick. We both liked the idea of using something iconic yet banal. An old brick has a story and it’s a beautiful raw object. We started collecting more and more (some intact, some broken) and realised how different they all appear, each one having its own identity”.
‘Wait In The Car’ is set to form part of a series of 7” releases, the first of which will be available at the band’s upcoming tour dates. The second single will be available at som independent record stores from 27th October, while the third will be announced later this year, with each single being limited to 1,500 copies worldwide.
