The Cure Announce Seven New Shows
The new dates will be the final outing of their ‘Reflections’ show.
The Cure have announced seven new shows, billed as ‘final performances’ of their 1979 album ‘Three Imaginary Boys’, 1980’s ‘Seventeen Seconds’, and 1981’s ‘Faith’.
The dates - an extension of their ‘Reflections’ run - are all set for November, starting with a date at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
A post on the band’s website reads: ”REFLECTIONS’ sees an evolving line up of band members past and present playing the first three Cure albums live in their entirety - from the punchy, offbeat, starkly unadorned songs of Three Imaginary Boys (1979), through the increasingly shadowy and quixotic pieces of Seventeen Seconds (1980), to the singular melancholic grandeur of Faith (1981) - in a truly extraordinary concert experience.’
