The Flaming Lips have announced plans to collaborate with Bon Iver on their latest compilation effort.

Last year, The Flaming Lips revealed plans to collaborate with a series of artists for their new album and today, it’s been revealed that the likes of Bon Iver and Yoko Ono have been added to the ever-growing list.

Already lined up to work with Wayne Coyne and co. are Death Cab For Cutie, Nick Cave and Ghostland Observatory, whilst the front man also has plans to invite Lykke Li, Erykah Badu, and Ke$ha to join the mix.

Early reports stated that the record would be due for releae on Record Store Day in April, however, it is unconfirmed as to whether this is still the planned release date.
