The Flaming Lips, British Sea Power & More To Perform At Live From Jodrell Bank
The first performance of its kind
The Flaming Lips and British Sea Power have been confirmed to play the first ever Live From Jodrell Bank. Billed as a night of ‘spectacle and eccentricity’, the stage will also be shared by OK Go and Alice Gold on 2nd July 2011. The performers will entertain the crowds in front of the Lovell telescope - the biggest radio telescope in the country.
During the day, attendees will be invited to take part in lectures and experiments about space research.
Details of the Friday evening’s Transmission 001 event are yet to be revealed.
