The Flaming Lips new album ‘Oczy Mlody’

Their new twelve track record is due out in January and follows up 2013’s ‘The Terror’.

It looks like there’ll be a new album from The Flaming Lips released first thing in 2017.

According to reports from The Future Heart, the latest record from the band comes titled ‘Oczy Mlody’ and is set to be released on 13th January 2017, which doubles as frontman Wayne Coyne’s birthday.

The record will follow on from their 2013 album ‘The Terror’, but it’s not like they’ve been resting on their laurels recently. Back in 2014, the band unveiled their Beatles cover album ‘With A Little Help From My Fwends’ before their Miley Cyrus collab ‘Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz’ appeared last year.

‘Oczy Mlody’ looks to be twelve tracks in length - see the full tracklisting below.

1. Oczy Mlody
2. How??
3. There Should Be Unicorns
4. Sunrise (Eyes of the Young)
5. Nigdy Nie (Never No)
6. Galaxy I Sink
7. One Night While Hunting for Faeries and Witches and Wizards to Kill
8. Do Glowy
9. Listening to the Frogs With Demon Eyes
10. The Castle
11. Almost Home (Blisko Domu)
12. We a Famly

Along with the big album news, The Flaming Lips have also shared the first preview of things to come in the shape of drifting dreamfest ‘The Castle’.
