The Grateful Dead to reunite for 50th anniversary shows

As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, the surviving members of legendary group The Grateful Dead will reunite for three shows in Chicago this summer.

Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann will be joined by Phish frontman Trey Anastasio for a trio of dates at Chicago’s Solider Field, July 3rd-5th.

The Grateful Dead were reportedly offered $3 million to reform for Bonnaroo 2015 - instead they opted for these return dates. “These will be the last shows with the four of us together,” says Weir.

Tickets are available via a fan-club pre-sale, 12th and 13th February. General sale tickets are available from 14th February.
