The Last Dinner Party reveal new single ‘Sinner’
London’s buzziest band have also announced a slew of UK tour dates.
Following their soaring, anthemic debut single ‘Nothing Matters’ was never an easy ask, but today The Last Dinner Party have sated our appetites with sophomore release, ‘Sinner’. Speaking about the track, guitarist Lizzie Mayland says: “Sinner is a story of self-acceptance, and the longing for the past and present self to become one. Born from a breakbeat drum sample, ‘Sinner’ is punctuated by ripping guitar lines and harmony-filled vocal breakdowns”.
True to Dinner Party’s previous form, ‘Sinner’ arrives accompanied by a theatrical music video co-directed by the band and collaborator Balan Evans. The band have also announced a number of shows around the UK post-festival season, with support from fellow fast-risers Picture Parlour. Be quick though - the first London date has already sold out, with the others likely to follow suit soon.
Watch the video for ‘Sinner’ below.
