New post from Thailand tells fans to “expect album announcement soon.”
The Libertines have taken to their Facebook page to tell fans to “expect [an] album announcement soon.”
In the latest update, Peter Doherty and Carl Barat posted an image of the duo at work writing the album in Thailand. In December 2014, The Libertines confirmed that the group signed a record deal with Virgin EMI, paving the way for their long-awaited third album. Carl Barat, John Hassall, and Gary Powell jetted out to negotiate with Peter Doherty, who continues to receive treatment for drug addiction in Thailand. Watch a video of the announcement here.
