The Maccabees announce four UK shows
The band will make four headline appearances this May.
Currently in the midst of finishing up their brand new album, The Maccabees have announced plans for four UK headline shows this May.
The news of their latest set of headline appearances landed earlier today (Tuesday 31st March) when the band took to their website to post a rather mysterious video clip, titled ‘——- / — / ——- / —’, that lasts a staggering seventy minutes. The muted video focusses in on a large room, where the group gradually set up an array of instruments away from the camera. Watch the clip (or, at least, a few minutes from it) below.
The band will be making stops in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London this May.
MAY
11 Institute, Birmingham
12 ABC, Glasgow
13 The Ritz, Manchester
14 Coronot, London
The band have also assured fans that “some pre-sale tix are held for our email list.” Head to their website to sign up to their mailing list, and to be in with a chance of getting pre-sale tickets.
The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their follow-up to 2012’s ‘Given To The Wild.
