Everything Everything, Maxïmo Park & more to play The Maccabees’ Kirkstall Abbey show this summer
Mystery Jets and Fiona-Lee will also join the bill in what’s set to be a packed day in Leeds this July.
Late last year, The Maccabees announced plans to continue their incredible reunion with a series of live shows this summer, including a stint at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds. Now, it’s shaping up to be quite the indie throwback, with the likes of Everything Everything, Maxïmo Park, Mystery Jets and Fiona-Lee also set to perform across the day.
The show - which is taking place as part of the Live at Kirkstall Abbey concert series this summer - is scheduled to happen in the grounds of the the historical landmark on 31st July and promises to be The Maccs’ only Northern live appearance on this run. It comes after the band reunited back in November 2024 with plans to headline last year’s All Points East festival, along with a handful of other euphoric live shows including an incredibly memorable turn on The Park Stage at Glastonbury 2025.
Across the day, they’ll be joined by art-rock quartet Everything Everything - who last year celebrated the tenth anniversary of their 2015 album ‘Get To Heaven’ with a huge UK tour - and Northern legends Maxïmo Park, who are currently on the road to mark the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut ‘A Certain Trigger’. Continuing the true ’00s indie love-in vibes, Mystery Jets will also perform during the day, while singer Fiona-Lee will round things out, following the release of her new EP, ‘Every Woman’, this April.
Fancy it? Course you do! Tickets for the show are on sale now.
