The Maccabees’ Felix White Unveils Cosmo Project, Releases EP

While The Maccabees fans patiently wait for a follow-up to 2012’s ‘Given to the Wild’, the band’s own Felix White has shared some new music of his own, in the form of Cosmo.

He’s released a mini-album/ EP of sorts, coming accompanied with a video for each track, with the likes of Florence Welch and Jack Penate guesting on vocal duties. Jessie Ware, Jamie N Commons and The Maccabees’ Hugo White are also involved.

The EP came together during recording sessions for ‘Given to the Wild’. It’s available digitally, in Rough Trade East London and Brighton’s Resident Music on 10’ vinyl (plus CD, poster and handwritten lyrics).

Lead track ‘Yalla’ is a sparse, rough-edged effort with a surrealist video (watch below):
