The Maccabees & Lianne La Havas are battling for UK Album Chart top spot
‘Marks To Prove It’ and ‘Blood’ are currently just 300 copies apart in the midweek update.

The Maccabees and Lianne La Havas are currently battling it out with one another for the top spot of this week’s UK Album Chart.
In the midweek Official Chart update, it turns out that the South London-based five-piece are currently in the lead, but it’s tight; there are just 300 copies between their fourth record ‘Marks To Prove It’ and La Havas’ second effort ‘Blood’, which were both released last Friday (31st July).
Elsewhere in the midweek charts, Years & Years are still hanging on to their Top 5 position, with ‘Communion’ currently sitting pretty at Number 3, beneath the two new entries.
While reissue’s reign elsewhere in the charts - there are three Led Zeppelin albums in the current Album Chart - Foo Fighters’ Greatest Hits is also back in the Top 20, having climbed to Number 19 after Italian fans performed ‘Learn To Fly’ and secured their very own live gig after Dave Grohl watched their performance.
