The Maccabees perform ‘Marks To Prove It’ on The Late Late Show

They’re host James Corden’s favourite band, apparently.

While forever destined to remain Smithy in the minds of most of us Brits, telly funnyman James Corden is, as they say in some quarters, ‘smashing it’ Stateside.

And it’s not just his embarrassing jokes he’s importing - following on from Palma Violets, Wolf Alice and Royal Blood gracing the stage of his Late Late Show, last night it was the turn of The Maccabees - who are, we’re told, James’ “favourite band”.

They performed ‘Marks To Prove It’, the title track from this year’s chart-topping album, and you can see it below.

The Maccabees tour the UK in November and January.
