The Maccabees are set to play a charity gig at London’s Omeara
The gig organised by Yala Reocrds in aid of the MS Society also features Mystery Jets.
The Maccabees are gearing up to embark on their final-ever tour this month, playing a handful of farewell shows around the country before
saying one last goodbye at London’s Alexandra Palace on 1st July (sniff).
Before that emotional farewell though, the band have
announced a special one-off date. As announced on Facebook, they’ll be playing
a live set at London’s Omeara on 16th June for Felix White’s label Yala
Records, with all profits going to MS Society UK. There, they’ll also be joined
by Mystery Jets and Imperial Daze, who will both be playing acoustic sets. Tickets
are only available via the Yala Records mailing list on Monday 5th June. You
can sign up to the mailing list here.
