The Maccabees to air ‘Elephant Days’ documentary at BFI London Film Festival
Short film explores the people and community of Elephant & Castle.
Following up their number one album, The Maccabees have made a short film called ‘Elephant Days’.
The production explores everyday life and the individual characters that make up Elephant & Castle, the area of South London where they made fourth album ‘Marks to Prove It’. It’s described as “an insight into community, perspectives, unique character and redevelopment” of the area.
The feature length documentary - made by The Maccabees, James Caddick and James Cronin - has being accepted into the 59th BFI London Film Festival, running 7th-18th October.
