The Mars Volta And Flea’s Antemasque Stream ‘4AM’ Track

Fresh out of the supergroup oven, Antemasque is a new band unveiled as of yesterday, containing Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Dave Elitch. and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez from The Mars Volta, plus Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Yesterday they warmed up by showcasing rehearsal footage and chit-chat about this one time Flea received a bass guitar from Damien Hirst. Now they’re getting down to the serious stuff.

‘4AM’ is the band’s first track, an introduction shooting by at breakneck speed. It sounds a lot like the on-paper collaboration would suggest - even better, actually.
