Members of The National and The Grateful Dead are set to collaborate as part of a live webcast.
Rolling Stone reports Scott and Bryan Devendorf of The National will team up with the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir for a performance on March 24th, broadcast live online from Weir’s TRI Studios in San Rafael, California.
The set will comprise material from both band’s back catalogues, as well as a number of ‘politically minded cover songs’ and a round table discussion hosted by Grateful Dead lyricist John Perry Barlow.
