The National share a new video for ‘I’ll Still Destroy You’
They were also recently announced for new London event All Points East.
The National released their ace new album ‘Sleep Well Beast’ back in early September, and now they’ve unveiled a new video for ‘I’ll Still Destroy You’.
The clip has been directed by Allan Sigurðsson and Icelandic performance and installation artist Ragnar Kjartansson, the latter of whom appears in the video itself. Filmed in Copenhagen during HAVEN Festival – which Bryce and Aaron Dessner created – it was shot in a single hour at pop-up bar of Ragnar’s own making. The bar was shut down during the shoot and destroyed the day after. That was some party.
Yesterday, The National were announced for a new event, All Points East, alongside The xx, Popcaan and Lykke Li, as well as The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Warpaint and more to be announced. It takes place in London’s Victoria Park and comes in two halves from the 25th May until 3rd June.
