Lightning Bug - The Sunlit Room


Back in May of last year, New York’s Lightning Bug announced themselves a bunch of truants with ‘Lullaby no. 2’, a bittersweet tale of crucial getaway that’s been waiting for a beautiful follow-up ever since. It arrives with ‘The Sunlit Room’, a far more pristinely produced track that gives nods to Braids’ skittering electronic brilliance; fast-paced, frenetic and never looking back. Gallant - an LA crooner like no other - has brought on board Felix Snow to produce this finely-tuned late night number, all piercing screams and loved-up intentions. What a beauty.
