Ahead of the release of the first part of debut album ‘Infancy’ next week (3rd May) The Ninth Wave have shared new track ‘First Encounters’.
Of the song, frontman Haydn Park-Patterson says: “It’s about trying to keep up with normal life when on the inside you feel totally lost, so much so that it feels like that state could very easily become a permanent part of who you are. Everyone, at some point in their lives, feels the pressure and anxieties of existence.”
The second part of ‘Infancy’ is set to follow on 15th November.

The Ninth Wave play The Great Escape (9th - 11th May) where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
