The Ninth Wave share video for ‘Sometimes The Silence Is Sweeter’

The band’s EP ‘FLESCH’ is out now.

After revealing the track back in October, buzzy Glasgow four-piece have shared a video for their song ‘Sometimes The Silence Is Sweeter’.

Matching the song’s dark post-punk undertones, the video (which was directed by Ciaran Lyons) is also suitably dark, featuring a dancer on the streets of Glasgow performing Butoh, a form of Japanese performance art which is popularly known as ‘the dance of death and disease,’ or ‘the dance of darkness.’ Frontman Haydn Park-Patterson describes the song as “an appreciation of being alone” and it’s taken from the band’s EP ‘FLESCH’, which is out now.
