He was found at his home in Essex this morning (4th March).
Keith Flint, frontman of The Prodigy, has died aged 49.
As the BBC report, Police said they were “called to concerns for the welfare of a man” just after 08:00 GMT. “Sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Update: The Prodigy have paid tribute to their late frontman.
“It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint,” they write. “A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed. We thank you for respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time.”
Bandmate Liam Howlett has posted on the band’s official Instagram account, detailing that the death was by suicide. Read the post below.
