The Shins set to make UK live return at End of the Road 2016
James Mercer and co. have been teasing new material as of late on Instagram.

After teasing various snippets of new material over the last few months on their ‘Shinstagram,’ The Shins are set to play their first UK show in four years at End of The Road.
It’ll be their only festival appearance on our shores, with the bonanza taking place 1st-4th September. With the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Port of Morrow’ apparently in progress, by then The Shins could be debuting their new record live.
Faris Horrors and Rachel Zeffira’s Cat’s Eyes, FEWS, and LionLimb - whose members also play in Angel Olsen’s backing band some of the time - have also joined the End of the Road line-up.
Joanna Newsom has already been announced as a headliner, lugging her harp and beautiful new record ‘Divers’ along to Larmer Tree Gardens. The likes of Animal Collective, Bat for Lashes, Cat Power, Savages, Shura, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Dilly Dally are also headed to the festival.
