The Spook School share ‘Someone To Spend Christmas With’
The Glaswegian indie-poppers are feeling all festive.
Have yourself a spooky little Christmas…
The Spook School are gearing up to release their new, third album ‘Could It Be Different?’ and have already shared ‘Still Alive’ and ‘Less Than Perfect’ from it. Before its release in January though, the band have become all festive and shared a new track, ‘Someone To Spend Christmas With’. Not only that but they’ve made their own 2018 calendar too! It’s available from their Bandcamp page.
Bass player Anna Corey said of the track: “This is a song about figuring out how you want to conduct your own relationships when it feels like the world is full of conflicting advice about the ‘best’ way to do it, whether that be monogamy, polyamory, or something else entirely. The refrain relates to the ideal of having one important person in your life with whom you’ll always spend your special occasions. Merry Christmas from The Spook School!”
The band also recently announced that they’d be touring the States again next year alongside their buddies Diet Cig, Lala Lala and Great Grandpa, but before that they’ve got a big old show at Glasgow’s O2 ABC on 22nd December and an album release show with Shopping at Stereo on 27th January.
