The Staves share Justin Vernon-produced ‘Blood I Bled’, announce new EP, tour
The track is taken from a forthcoming album due early next year.
The Staves have revealed details of a new EP and tour before the end of the year.
The trio of Emily, Jessica, and Camilla Staveley-Taylor, who released debut album ‘Dead & Born Grown’ in 2012, will follow up with the ‘Blood I Bled EP’ on 28th October through Atlantic Records. The title track is taken from a forthcoming studio album set for early 2015 produced by Justin Vernon, featuring what is described as “a full supporting cast of his Bon Iver band-mates”.

Six shows have also been announced for October. Starting at Manchester’s Deaf Institute, they call in Glasgow, Dublin, Limerick and Birmingham before finishing off at London’s Crypt On The Green. Tickets go on pre-sale from 9am Wednesday 17th September through www.thestaves.com, and on general-sale from Friday 19th September.
