The Staves share video for ‘Make It Holy’
The black and white video follows the sisters around Bon Iver’s middle-of-nowehere studio cabin.
The Staves have shared a new video for ‘Make It Holy’. The wintery black and white offering follows the sisters around Bon Iver’s April Base studio in Wisconsin - otherwise known as that blimmin’ wood cabin in the middle of nowhere he uses for recording.
“This song is one of the few that was written entirely at April Base studios,” The Staves explained, speaking about the time spent working with Justin Vernon. “It’s one of the songs that captures a moment completely and represents what was so special about that time for us. The song is about the end of a relationship and it’s almost a prayer - to make things right again. If you repeat it enough times, it might just happen..”
‘Make It Holy’ is taken from The Staves’ latest album ‘If I Was,’ which came out at the beginning of this year. Watch the new video below.
