The Tallest Man On Earth reveals new track ‘Sagres’

The track is the first to arrive from ‘Dark Bird Is Home’

The Tallest Man On Earth has unveiled the first single from his upcoming fourth album in the form of ‘Sagres’.

The track is the first to be taken from ‘Dark Bird Is Home’, which is arriving on 12th May.

‘Sagres’, which is Kristian Matsson’s first new material since 2012’s ‘There’s No Leaving Now’ album, is a woozy cut which deviates further from the Swede’s beginnings of abraisive, twanging acoustic guitar, instead opting for organ-like sounds and oohs and ahhs. His trademark lyrical style of self-criticism remains though, lamenting “all this fucking doubt”.

Matsson also recently announced a show at London’s KOKO to promote the album, and is also on the line-up for a slew of summer festivals, including The National and Bon Iver’s Eaux Claires event.

‘Dark Bird Is Home’ is released via Dead Oceans on 12th May and is available to pre-order here.
