The Vaccines’ Justin Young & Timothy Lanham reveal new project, Halloweens
The duo have shared two new tracks, ‘Hannah You’re Amazing’ and ‘Ur Kinda Man’.
Justin Young and Timothy Lanham of The Vaccines have revealed a brand new project today (Friday 8th November) called Halloweens.
The duo - which apparently started life early this year after a rather fruitful writing session - have now shared two new tracks, ‘Hannah You’re Amazing’ and ‘Ur Kinda Man’.
Written in Paris in March 2019, the songs were then recorded Oakland, California with Luke Temple (Here We Go Magic, Adrianne Lenker), and stand as a first taste of the project.
Speaking of Halloweens, Justin has said: “The record came from a period of writing without consequence or compromise where the only requisite was ‘do we love this?’. Being able to write and record a record that nobody expects is an incredibly empowering and exciting process, free from the fog of ambition or fear.”
