Ex-The Verve members Nick McCabe and Simon Jones are to launch The Black Ships this summer.
The two-some will form a new band alongside drummer Mig Schillace and violinist Davide Rossi.
The band’s first gig will take place at Kings College Students Union, London on 2nd June 2011.
David Rossi also performed with The Verve, appearing regularly in their live band, as well as on the recording of their ‘Forth’ album.
