The Xcerts Forced To Cancel Second Show
The Xcerts have been forced to cancel their second show due to illness.

The Xcerts are currently out on a short UK headline tour, but have been forced to cancel their second show so far, due to frontman Murray Macleod falling ill.
The band had to pull out of their show yesterday in Bath, and today (20th January) have been forced to cancel another show.
The band hope to play their final headline show in Aberdeen and Glasgow before they head out on tour with Brand New.
Murray posted the following message to the band’s Facebook page:
‘Hello everybody,
Hope you are all well. Sadly, I have some more bad news. We have to cancel tonight’s show in Preston. I thought a day of rest would sort me out but it would appear I need another day of rest to reach full recovery. The good news is I am feeling much better and my throat is on the mend, I just can’t take the risk of prolonging this situation and I really can’t ake the risk of damaging my vocal chords. I am beyond gutted as I know this show was set to be fantastic, but sadly I have fallen ill at a really inconvenient time. We are going find a rescheduled date within the next week. All original tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled show, or if you would like a refund, please get in touch with the venue.
I cannot apologise enough! I feel like I’m letting a lot of people down but hopefully you can all understand this is just one of those horrible things that happens.
As for Aberdeen and Glasgow, I should be able to perform. We are currently on route to Aberdeen. I am wrapped up listening to Wilco, drinking copious amounts of pineapple juice and water so hopefully this extra day of rest will do the trick.
Thankyou for understanding team.
Murray.’
We’ll keep you updated on the situation, including any rescheduled dates that get confirmed.
The Xcerts’ remaining tour dates are as follows.

21 Aberdeen Cafe Drummonds
22 Glasgow King Tuts Wah Wah Hut
FEBRUARY (w/ Brand New)

10 Southampton Guildhall
11 London Camden Roundhouse
