On the road
The Xcerts to support Twin Atlantic on upcoming UK tour
The trio will be heading out with the Scottish four-piece later this month.
It’s not long now until The Xcerts release their brand new album ‘There Is Only You’ and they’re already planning on heading out on the road to celebrate. Despite having a full UK headline tour in their diary for next month, that’s not enough for the trio: the band have now extended their schedule somewhat by announcing that they’ll join Twin Atlantic on their upcoming UK tour.
Kicking off later this month, they’ll join the Scottish four-piece on their twelve-date tour which kicks off later this week in Aberdeen.
“We are incredibly psyched to be heading out on tour with Twin Atlantic,” The Xcerts’ frontman Murray Macleod said in a press release. “We have been friends for a really long time and we actually first toured together when we were 18 years old which feels like a lifetime ago now. They are great guys and a great band so these shows are going to be a lot of fun.”
Unfortunately, it does mean that some of their upcoming headline shows have had to be rescheduled due to scheduling conflicts: their shows at Birmingham’s Sunflower Lounge, Manchester’s Gullivers, Leeds’ Brudenell Games Room and Glasgow’s Oran Mor have all been affected. More news on the new dates will announced shortly.
