Update
The xx’s new album is reportedly called ‘I See You’, may be out this year
Shazam might’ve let the secret slip. Oops.
Oh here we go - The xx’s new album details might have slipped out. Uh oh.
A sneaky chap on Reddit has unearthed a whole bunch of new tracks from The xx on Shazam. They’re all contained in an album titled ‘I See You’, to boot. The track titles are as follows:
1. Brave For You
2. Dangerous
3. I Dare You
4. Lips
5. Naive
6. On Hold
7. Performance
8. Replica
9. Seasons Run
10. Say Something Loving
11. Test Me
12. A Violent Noise
As Stereogum report, ‘On Hold’ and ‘Say Something Loving’ have also been Shazamed - 5 times and 1 time respectively, which suggests that the tracks have started doing the rounds in some capacity. Stereogum are also speculating that we might be seeing the release of ‘I See You’ before the end of the year, and have reached out to the band’s representatives for confirmation.
The xx are set to appear on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show this Thursday, following the release of three 55 second teasers of new material, and ahead of their first tour in ages.
