The xx announce their first tour in two years
They’re debuting material from album three at a bunch of new shows.
Full steam ahead - after confirming that LP3 is in the works, The xx have now announced a bunch of new tour dates.
Taking place in Eastern Europe with a quick stopover in Japan, the run is their first in two years. It’s set to play host to the debuting of new material from that third album, which they’ve been working on for over a year. Maybe longer. Who knows.
In an email newsletter, the band say that the shows will see them “testing out some of our new songs in places we don’t get to go to so often.” View the run below - it joins the recently-announced headline slot at Lollapalooza’s South American dates in The xx’s growing 2017 touring schedule.
