It was only last September when Californian garage-rockers Thee Oh Sees released their last album, ‘Putrifiers II’, and they’re already gearing up to unleash the follow-up.
They have revealed that ‘Floating Coffin’, illustrated by the interesting artwork you see above, will be out via John Dwyer’s own Castle Face Records on 16th April (in the US, at least).
The ten-track album is described by Dwyer as ‘pretty dark, and much heavier than our other albums’.
The tracklisting is:
1. I Come From the Mountain
2. Toe Cutter – Thumb Buster
3. Floating Coffin
4. No Spell
5. Strawberries 1 + 2
6. Maze Fancier
7. Night Crawler
8. Sweet Helicopter
9. Tunnel Time
10. Minotaur
Thee Oh Sees are confirmed to appear at TV on the Radio’s ATP this May at Camber Sands.
