Tobias Jesso Jr. to release ‘Goon’ album next year
LA-based musician’s debut LP is out via True Panther in 2015.
Vancouver via Los Angeles musician Tobias Jesso Jr. has announced plans to release his debut album, ‘Goon’, in early 2015.
Speaking to Pitchfork, the man behind ‘Just a Dream’ and ‘True Love’ confirmed that as well as Girls’ Chet “JR” White, he’s been working with The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney, the New Pornographers’ John Collins and Ariel Rechtstaid.
Songs set to appear include ‘Without You’, ‘Just a Dream’ and ‘True Love’.
Tobias Jesso Jr. has previously only released a series of flexidisc singles via his label, True Panther Sounds. The series was published on a 5 songs for $5 basis, with a new flexidisc being issued every 3 to 4 weeks. Limited to 300 copies, the series is sold out.
