Toothless toasts the festive season on ‘Leave Take Lend’
Ed Nash’s debut solo album ‘The Pace Of The Passing’ came out at the start of the year.

We’re fully in the Christmas spirit here at DIY HQ, but luckily for you, dear readers, we’ve managed to put the mince pies down for long enough to share the gorgeous new festive single from Toothless with you.
‘Leave Take Lend’ is a gorgeous, winding trip through winter, with Ed Nash’s hushed vocals perfectly epitomising the winding down of the year.
“Last week I decided I should contribute to the legendary canon of Christmas songs and all that entails: singing about open fires, the weather, Christmas trees,” he told us over email.
“Channeling my inner Slade (but sounding nothing like them), I wrote and recorded ‘Leave Take Lend’ and wanted to share it as a thank you to everyone who has supported Toothless over the past year and for everyone who wants a downbeat song to accompany Mariah’s All I Want for Christmas at their family get together.”
Nash’s debut album under the moniker - ‘The Pace Of The Passing’ - came out at the start of the year.
