Transgressive Records announces special releases and instores at Rough Trade East
UK label celebrates its 10 year anniversary with the help of Pulled Apart By Horses and Famy.
UK label Transgressive Records is celebrating being 10 years to the good by announcing a residency at Rough Trade East, in London. Instore performances are set to take place, with exclusive releases donning shop shelves between August and September.
From today (26th August), a newly-fledged Transgressive Wall has been set up, featuring artwork from Foals collaborator Tinhead, plus exclusive releases including Flume’s recent remix of ‘Afterlife’ by Arcade Fire. A 7” single of Regina Spektor’s ‘Carbon Monoxide’ - originally released in 2005 - is being given another run for the occasion.
In stores from Dry The River (28th August), Pulled Apart By Horses (5th September) and Famy (8th September, Rough Trade West) are all confirmed.
Alongside the Rough Trade events, Transgressive is hosting a 10 year anniversary party at London Barbican, 30th September. Johnny Flynn, Mystery Jets and Marika Hackman are on the confirmed bill so far. Tickets are available here.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
