Treeboy & Arc share the anthemic ‘White’ from new EP ‘Not Yet’

No llamas were harmed in the making of this (very good) song.

Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Treeboy & Arc.

Leeds post-punkers Treeboy & Arc are releasing new EP ‘Not Yet’ at the start of December, and we’ve got the first play of its new single ‘White’ as today’s Neu Pick.

A vibrant, fierce rush of blood, the track is born from the weirder, slicker corners of punk, and is an intoxicating cocktail.

Speaking of the track, the band tell us: “’White’ was the first song we wrote as a band. Songs have come and gone but this has stuck around. It’s about wanting to be productive and do things, yet lacking the full motivation to do so.”.

‘Not Yet’ comes out on 1st December and was recorded by MJ of Hookworms at Suburban Home Studios in the band’s hometown of Leeds.

The band will play two shows before the end of the year, including an EP release show at the Brudenell Social Club with fellow buzzy Leeds punks Drahla.

Listen to ‘White’ and view the dates below.
