Tula unveil new single, ‘River’

Berlin-based Swedish four-piece Tula’s first hand was promising (one of a million covers of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’), but it wasn’t a killer blow. Now the head-turning outfit have put themselves in the firing line with daring pop track, ‘River’.

Intricately produced and drenched in drama, it takes their initial hype-worthy, synth-focused sound into proper ballsy territory. The track comes produced by Klas Åhlund, a regular collaborator with Robyn, boasting experience with cape champion Madonna and the nation’s favourite, Kylie. Åhlund’s clearly had a role in building ‘River’ up into lofty heights, but there’s a serious pop knowhow defining Tula’s every move.

They play their debut UK show supporting Kid Wave at The Stillery, London, on 12th March.
