Tune-Yards share new song ‘ABC 123’
“We’re hoping Sesame Street invites us to play it on their show,” says the band’s Merrill Garbus.

Tune-Yards have shared fidgety new song ‘ABC 123,’ along with a woodwork-centric video which quite possibly takes inspiration from Frank Ocean’s brief forays into carpentry.
It sees Merrill Garbus’ head poking through an electric car track, inside a microwave, and sticking through a bit of wood, because, well, why not?
“We’re hoping Sesame Street invites us to play it on their show,” said the band’s Merrill Garbus of ‘ABC 123’ in a tweet.
‘ABC 123’ appears on Tune-Yards’ forthcoming album ‘I can feel you creep into my private life’ - out on 19th January via 4AD. It’s the band’s first full length since ‘Nikki Nack’ in 2014.
Watch the very odd new video for ‘ABC 123’ below.
