Twerps preview new album with ‘I Don’t Mind’
‘Range Anxiety’ is due in early February on Merge Records.
Melbourne jangle pop quartet Twerps have shared a second track, titled ‘I Don’t Mind’, from their upcoming second full-length ‘Range Anxiety’.
Having formed in Melbourne back in 2008 and released a self-titled debut LP in 2011 Twerps are hardly newcomers, but from the looks of it, ‘Range Anxiety’ is set to be a step up and forward for band. Like the previously unveiled ‘Shoulders’, ‘I Don’t Mind’ is another exciting taste of ‘Range Anxiety’ with its rollicking slacker pop vibes. Taking cues from the best of 90s indie rock, its gloriously laid-back sound is also a welcome reminder of sunnier days.
‘Range Anxiety’ follows last year’s excellent ‘Underlay’ EP and it is due on 2nd February via Merge Records.
