Listen: Twin Atlantic Return With New Single, ‘Heart And Soul’

Twin Atlantic are back with a new track, which aired tonight on BBC Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record. ‘Heart And Soul’ is the first single from their new album due later this summer on Red Bull Records - you can hear it above.

“Our aim was always to make songs this size,” says singer Sam McTrusty. “Coming from a punk rock background, it took a while - we like to say we went the scenic route.

‘But it was the right route for us, full of interesting stops on which we learnt a lot – about ourselves, about each other, about how to make music that connects with fans which is always honest, never forced.”

This summer the band will play T in the Park and The Great Escape, amongst other dates still to be confirmed. The upcoming full-length follows on from 2009’s ‘Vivarium’ and 2011’s ‘Free’.
