Hooray!
Two Door Cinema Club are set to return this year
2016 promises “new music, new shows, new everything” say the group.
It’s been a long old while since we heard anything from the Two Door Cinema Club camp, but that’s all set to change. Over the weekend, the Northern Irish trip took to social media to reveal that their longstanding break has finally come to an end.
In a Facebook post, the band promised “new music, new shows, new everything” in 2016, which is jolly exciting indeed. It comes following a number of festivals revealing Two Door as part of their line-up, but it’s the first real confirmation that, yes, they’re back.
That new album will be the first material since September 2013’s ‘Changing Of The Seasons’ EP, and their live shows the first since December of that same year, after a headlining slot at Latitude 2014 was cancelled due to illness. Welcome back, lads, you’ve been missed.
Check out the band’s still-vital ‘What You Know’ below.
